On the island off the coast of Et'wixt lives a eccentric, old wizard. From what I have heard they are quite ancient and powerful-sometimes to their own detriment. The most clear example of this being their appearance, seeing as they've accidentally transmorphed themselves into an elephant in a rather permanent fashion. Despite this setback, they seem in rather jolly spirits. In fact, it seems as though they have become only more obsessed with discovering more about magic, having found a gap in their understanding of it. On their wall is a sign that says 'Through our magic, we will reunite.' I'm not sure exactly what it means, but it certainly feels inspiring. In regards to the elephant situation, I'm sure given some time they shall work their way into a solution to their current affliction, even if shrinking themselves into a painting is a quite strange way of going about that.
Although I think it rather unwise to play with magic in such a slapdash manner, I cannot help but admit their fervor for discovery is quite refreshing, especially for a place as rigid as Et'wixt. Despite all of their posturing, I doubt the government's military prowess would be anything comparable to its current status without the experimental trappings of their favorite proprietary wizard.
