You happen to stumble upon a very interesting lab and decide to do a little alchemy by following a mysterious recipe.

Put water and air into a small mixing bowl and lightly stir.
Add a scoop of earth to the bowl and combine.
To a large mixing bowl add equal parts earth and water.
Empty the contents of the small mixing bowl into the larger bowl. Let chill.
To a food processor add fire and air. Set aside half of the mixture in a small pot.
Take the chilled mixture from the fridge and add it to the food processor. Pulse on and off for 30 seconds.
Add earth to the food processor again, and blend until smooth.
Empty the contents of the food processor into the small pot, and blend over low heat.
Serve and enjoy!

Alchemy is an interesting practice, forbidden in most regions. One particular culture in Telius, however, tend to air more on the side of curiosity. Unlike crafting spells or sigils, potion crafting and alchemy externalize magic into a form that can be directly consumed. The reason many think this is particularly wrong is because of its implications on combat and war. Many fear that the creation of potions or materials that can cause innate harm are off-limits in terms of civil engagement.

While it may be taboo in some places, this community sees it as more of an art form to be mastered than a taboo to be shunned. They use it for medicine, food, and even to enhance their performing arts. It does make one wonder if, perhaps, alchemy is more of a tool than a danger. Besides, Et'wixt has already gone as far as to develop sigils that can be deployed and left for someone else to find (to their detriment). Is there truly much of a difference between that and the fears around alchemy if you look bellow the surface?
